What began as a two person operation, Jerry and Judy Boyd, working out of their home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL selling Portable Toilet Deodorizers, Truck Washes and Degreasers and Aluminum Anodizing Chemicals has evolved into an international supplier of Deodorizers, Fragrance Enhancers, Urinal Blocks, Pump Oil Controllers, Hand Cleaners as well as Toilet Cleaners and Accessories.

Today, J & J remains a family owned business with day to day operations managed by our Second Generation -- son Todd as President and daughter Kelly overseeing as Controller. Mom, Judy, remains as Payroll Manager while founding partner Jerry enjoys a well earned, but active retirement.

In the 32 years that Todd has been with J & J he has learned the business---literally from the ground floor. His first duties were to keep the warehouse floor clean. As he grew older his responsibilities changed.

In 1984 Todd joined his father full time and together they began to turn the dream of J & J as a national supplier in the Portable Toilet industry into reality. By traveling the United States and calling on prospective customers Todd was able to turn these prospects into customers, thereby creating a national company. J & J began shipping products out of the Ft. Lauderdale manufacturing facility to our new customers all over the continental United States and Canada.

Knowing that timing is an important factor in sales success in 1988 we built a manufacturing facility in Utah. 1989 saw the introduction of an innovative product that revolutionized the industry... a "fizzing" self-dissolving portion control tablet, Mega-Blue.

In 1994 a vision came to Todd to move his Florida facility northward to Georgia. "Picking up and moving a manufacturing plant was a risky idea but my faith in God’s vision for our company was unshakeable," he commented. "We rented a manufacturing plant and warehouse, made the transition and have never looked back as our business has flourished."

By 2002 J & J had outgrown the facility in Bogart, GA. "In order to meet sales demands and continue growing I knew we needed a larger, more modern plant," continued Todd. "I found the perfect piece of land in an established industrial park and constructed a new building designed specifically to meet our needs."

In 2006 Todd doubled the size of the manufacturing plant in Utah in order to keep pace with demand.
